Colour course receives seal of approval
Wednesday, 21 November 2007

The Colour Master Course run by the Digital Print CIC in conjunction with Leeds College of Technology receives the seal of approval from industry expert.

Having completed the course himself, Jack Bissett, Technical Director of the Polestar Group stated "everyone in the print industry should take part in this course". Participants to date include a wide variety of companies ranging from Thomas Cook to the Health and Safety Excutive. The courses are held in Leeds College of Technology's state of the art Mac Suite, which has been specifically prepared for the course and includes hands on experience of a range colour management hardware and software.

The need for training in both colour management and colour perception was identified as the number 1 priority by many UK printers. Leeds University is one of only two centers in the World specialising in this subject. Combining the wealth of knowldege from the University and the practical experience and facilities of the College of Technolgy, this course offers practical advice on managing your colour workflow.

Plans are now in place to expand the range of courses available and to introduce a series of one day seminars covering a number of topics including an introduction to colour management and  ISO 12647. Theses will be available in the New Year. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for further details of all courses.
